Terms and Conditions

This Club Members Agreement (referred to as the "Agreement") outlines the rights, responsibilities, expectations, policies, structure, and membership terms of individuals joining the Jetour Owners Club UAE (referred to as the "Club").

The Club is a non-profit social organization and shall maintain a reasonable treasury for operating expenses and Club activities. The Club reserves the right to acquire sponsors to support its events and initiatives.

As a Club Member of  Jetour Owners Club UAE (referred to as the "Club Member"), I acknowledge my legal and ethical obligation to support the Club in achieving its objectives and mission to the best of my ability. I am committed to actively contributing to the Club’s endeavors and exercising responsible and prudent stewardship.

In alignment with this commitment, I agree to adhere to all existing and future policies of the Club. I acknowledge my registration as a Club Member and commit to abiding by the stipulated terms, rules, and regulations governing my role within Jetour Owners Club UAE.

 

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

1. Membership Eligibility

Membership eligibility is extended to individuals who own a Jetour vehicle by Elite Group Holding as the first owner and meet the membership requirements specified in this Agreement (referred to as "Club Members").

2. Vehicle Eligibility

(a) To align with the Club’s purpose, all Jetour vehicles, regardless of model year, are eligible for membership (collectively referred to as "Vehicle(s)"). Any vehicle modifications must be limited to original Jetour (OEM) equipment, parts, or accessories and must comply with UAE Road Traffic Laws and regulations.

(b) For club registration consideration, the vehicle must be officially registered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

3. Membership Fee

Membership in the Club is free for the first year of enrollment. After the first year, members must pay an annual membership fee as stated in “APPENDIX-B” of this Agreement before the commencement of the membership term. The Club Board members shall determine the membership dues and communicate them before the start of each membership year.

4. Membership Renewal Policy

(a) Membership in the Club is subject to annual renewal, based on availability and eligibility.
(b) Members will receive a renewal notification via email or their preferred communication method at least three (3) months before their membership expiration date.

5. Guests Policy

(a) Club members may invite a maximum of one (1) guest to Club events unless otherwise specified.
(b) Guests must always be accompanied by a Club Member and remain under their direct supervision.
(c) Guests are not permitted to use Club-provided items or equipment at events or Club meets unless they receive special permission from the Board.
(d) Club members are fully responsible for the behaviour and actions of their guests during Club events and activities.

 

MEMBERSHIP CARDS

Membership Cards (referred to as "Membership Cards") will be issued to Club Members under the terms, rules, and regulations outlined below.

General Conditions of Use of the Digital Membership Card

(a) The Digital Membership Card remains the property of the Club and will be deactivated upon membership termination or expiration. Membership Cards are valid as per the terms of this Agreement.

(b) The Membership Card is non-transferable - members cannot share, lend, or resell their digital access to any third party. Only the registered member may use their Membership Card.

(c) The Club does not offer refunds for unused or unwanted Membership Cards and will not extend their validity period.

(d) Members must present their Digital Membership Card via the Club’s mobile application or designated platform to access membership benefits.

(e) Members must have access to their valid Digital Membership Card when using Club facilities or attending Club events. When requested by Club staff, members must present their digital card for verification.

(f) Failure to present a Digital Membership Card as per Clause 5.1(d) may result in the Club charging non-member rates or denying entry to events and activities.

(g) Fraudulent applications or misuse of the Digital Membership Card may result in criminal prosecution and immediate termination of membership.

(h) Expired memberships do not grant continued access to benefits until full renewal payment has been made.

(i) Membership Card renewals are subject to the Club’s membership guidelines and fees.

 

Replacing a Lost, Damaged, or Inaccessible Digital Membership Card

(a) If a Digital Membership Card becomes inaccessible due to technical issues, loss of login credentials, or other reasons, the member may request support through the Club’s mobile application or customer support.

(b) Only one (1) account recovery request will be granted within a 12-month period. Any subsequent recovery or reset requests may be subject to additional verification or processing fees.

 

Termination of Digital Membership Card

(a) Upon termination of membership, the Club will revoke access to the Digital Membership Card and its associated privileges.

(b) Upon termination: 

All rights and privileges associated with the Digital Membership Card will cease.

The member must discontinue all use of the Digital Membership Card immediately.

Any attempts to use an expired or revoked Digital Membership Card may result in further action by the Club.

 

CLUB MEMBERS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Club Members Shall:

(a) Act as dedicated and active members, contributing to the success and growth of the Club.
(b) Be responsible for adhering to the terms of this Agreement and encouraging fellow Club Members to do the same.
(c) Comply with all applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or any other relevant laws while representing the Club at functions or while traveling to and from Club activities.
(d) Offer support and assistance during club events and activities to ensure their success and actively promote the Club and the Jetour brand.
(e) Make all reasonable efforts to attend events when invited and collaborate with the Board and fellow members to maintain a seamless and well-coordinated operation during Club activities.
(f) Respect fellow club members, fostering a sense of community and working to resolve any disputes or misunderstandings in a respectful manner.

2. Club Members Shall Not:

(a) Operate their vehicles in a reckless or irresponsible manner that could bring discredit or embarrassment to the Club, its Board, or fellow members. Any member engaging in such conduct may be subject to removal from the Club.
(b) Represent the Club while driving without possessing a valid UAE driving license.

 

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF CLUB MEMBERS

By submitting payment upon formal acceptance into the Club, or upon enrollment in accordance with the membership terms, individuals who have initiated membership in the Club acknowledge and assert the following:

1. Members agree to comply with all rules and policies set forth in this Agreement and any current or future policies enacted by the Club Board.
2. Members confirm they have had the opportunity to read and fully understand this Agreement before joining.
3. Members have had the opportunity to inspect, verify, and assess any claims made about the Club to their satisfaction.
4. Members acknowledge that they are not joining the Club based on reliance upon any representations, advertisements, guarantees, or assurances regarding: The quality or nature of the Club, its facilities, Board, volunteers, or affiliates. The qualifications or skills of other members. The services, benefits, or size of the Club community at any given time. The minimum or maximum number of members who may participate in Club activities, events, or benefits.

 

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS & WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

1. The Board reserves the right at any time to amend the cost of, add, modify, assign, terminate, exclude, and/or eliminate any membership, benefit, facility, activity, or program by a majority vote of the Board.

2. All tools, equipment, furniture, and assets on Club premises are the exclusive property of the Club, unless otherwise noted. The Club disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to: Implied warranties of merchantability (guarantee that goods meet general quality standards). Fitness for a particular purpose (guarantee that goods are suitable for a specific use). The Club shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use of Club equipment or facilities.

 

RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY

1. Grant of Publicity Rights

By becoming a Club Member, individuals grant the Club, the Board, and its designated agents the right to: Photograph, videotape, and record their likeness, projects, and possessions. Publish, distribute, or use such visual and/or audio content for Club-related purposes, including but not limited to marketing, promotional materials, and social media content.

Members acknowledge that they will not receive compensation for the use of such materials.

 2. Privacy & Photography Regulations

The Club is not responsible for photographs or videos taken by members and/or guests at Club facilities, events, or gatherings.

Members and guests are expected to respect personal privacy in accordance with UAE laws, specifically Articles 378 and 379 of the UAE Penal Code:

Article 378: It is a criminal offense to publish personal data related to an individual’s private or family life without legal authorization or the individual’s consent.

Article 379: Any person entrusted with a confidential matter ("secret") is prohibited from disclosing it without the explicit consent of the individual concerned.

Violations of these laws may result in criminal prosecution, with aggravated penalties for public employees.

Members and guests must ensure that any photography, recording, or publishing of content respects the privacy and consent of all individuals involved.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. Members shall conduct themselves in a reasonable, respectful, and orderly manner at all Club meetings, activities, and events while representing the Club or conducting Club business.

2. Members shall not engage or collaborate with any other automotive brands, clubs, or organization in a manner that conflicts with the interests of Jetour Club UAE.

3. Members shall comply with all applicable motor vehicle laws and ordinances when participating in or attending any Club activity, event, or gathering. On private property where traffic laws do not apply, members shall operate their vehicles in a controlled and safe manner in accordance with the conditions of the venue and as directed by property officials.

4. Members shall avoid participation in any decisions where a conflict of interest exists or may arise. In such cases, members must recuse themselves from discussions and decision-making related to such matters.

5. Members shall maintain the highest degree of governance practices. Promptly report any potential or actual violations of laws or Club policies to the Board. Always protect the confidentiality of club information. 

6. Members shall refrain from committing any offenses involving moral turpitude or acts contrary to law or public policy that may result in legal conviction. Avoid any actions that could damage the club’s reputation. 

7. Members shall not engage in bribery or corruption in conducting the club’s business. No Board Member or Club Member shall offer or provide, directly or indirectly, monetary or other incentives to gain improper business advantages.

8. All funds received by the Club for event participation shall be deposited into the Club's official account. Any decision to donate event winnings to charitable causes must be approved by a majority vote of the attending members.

9.  Members shall protect the Club’s physical assets, information, and intellectual property. Not use Club assets for personal gain or unauthorized activities.

10. Members shall maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted by the Club. Not use privileged Club information for personal gain or external advantage.

11. All marketing activities, including public relations (PR), social media, and public engagements, shall be managed by a designated Board Member. Marketing platforms shall not be used to promote individual businesses or groups unless authorized by the President or approved as an official partner.

12. Members shall not engage in any digital or social media activities related to the Club outside the Club’s official social media handles.

13. Members shall act in good faith, with honesty, fairness, and loyalty, in advancing the best interests of the Club. Always uphold the Club’s values and reputation.

14. Members must exercise their duties with A reasonable degree of care, skill, and diligence.

 

SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION:

1. Any member whose dues are one (1) month in arrears shall be automatically suspended until payment is made in full. During suspension, the member will not receive any Club benefits. If the arrears are not settled within 30 days, the membership will be automatically terminated after the suspension period expires.

2. The Club reserves the right to immediately revoke, suspend, or expel any member, guest, or participant from the Club’s Premises, Online systems and Sponsored events. Such actions may be taken in cases where a violation of the membership agreement or Club policies has occurred.

3. A written notice of temporary or permanent membership revocation shall be sent to the Club Member’s registered email address. The removal will take immediate effect unless explicitly stated otherwise in the notice.

4. Members whose rights and privileges have been removed shall be permitted to return to the facility only under the following conditions: To speak directly with the Board at a scheduled time. To collect or remove personal belongings, under the direct supervision of a Board Member. For any other purpose at the discretion of the Board.

5. If a Club Member’s rights are revoked or terminated for any reason, the Club shall not be obligated to refund any membership fees.

6. If a Club Member breaches the terms of this Agreement or violates any Club policies or regulations, their membership shall be immediately terminated without further notice.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

1. Any credit extended to, contracts entered, or claims made against the Club, or its Board Members shall be payable solely from the funds and property of the Club. No individual Club Member shall be personally liable for any financial obligation of the Club. The Club, as an organization, shall be responsible for settling all claims, debts, and financial liabilities, and no Board Member shall bear personal financial responsibility for such obligations.

2. No Club Member is authorized to act in an individual capacity when representing the Club. All official Club matters must be conducted under the authority of the Board.

3. The Club shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from a Member’s participation in the Club or use of Club services, including but not limited to, financial loss, loss of profit, or business disruption. Damages related to contractual, tort (including negligence), or product liability claims. Any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or contemplated by the parties.

4.The Club shall not be liable for any damage or technical issues affecting a Member’s personal devices, including but not limited to: Computers, mobile phones, handheld devices, or any other electronic equipment. The Club assumes no responsibility for any issues arising from the installation, use, or access of the Digital Membership Card, Club website, or Club app.

5.The Club accepts no liability for the content of third-party advertisements displayed on the Membership Card, website, or app. Any transactions made by Members in connection with such third-party content are strictly at the Member’s own risk.

 

Final Resolution and Legal Jurisdiction

If a dispute remains unresolved after thirty (30) days of informal negotiations and unsuccessful mediation, the matter shall be referred to the Board or, if necessary, to the Courts of the Emirate of Dubai, in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
